Our Programs
Our programs provide opportunities for participants to engage in structured activities with horses to inspire positive connections for enhanced wellbeing.
During this process the facilitator works with the participants to develop skills and competencies that will assist them to engage with the critical elements of self-regulation, self-awareness, teamwork, and communication.
The skills developed through participation in the sessions are transferable and directly relatable to all areas of life.
Inspire Connections Equine Facilitated Learning offers multifaceted programs which have a foundation in a trauma informed and relationship led approach. All activities are ground based and do not involve riding, no previous experience with horses is necessary.
The “Connect” Program is specifically designed for middle to upper Primary School aged children who have been identified by parents, school-based staff or medical providers as having current social and or emotional needs. These needs may be resulting from, but are not limited to, medical conditions such as ADHD, anxiety, ASD, or learning challenges caused by exposure to complex and or developmental trauma.

Inspire Connections EFL is a unique adapted model of Equine Facilitated Learning, that is individualised and directly linked to the personal and social capabilities of the Australian Curriculum.
The platform uses an individualised delivery approach.
The initial session will be an induction. This will introduce guidelines and teach crucial skills and awareness for interacting with horses safely.
Equines, facilitators, and participants will then begin a journey identified from personal goals directly linked to the Department of Education, Children and Young People (DECYP) Child and Student Wellbeing Strategy (2023), DECYP Respectful Relationships Education (2023), and Australian Curriculum General Capabilities – Personal and Social Capability.
