Students consistently engage with enthusiasm, enjoying the opportunity to get to know the horses and build meaningful connection. All activities are thoughtfully designed, scaffolded, and delivered within a carefully considered safety framework that prioritises the wellbeing of both horses and participants.
Grounded in ethical and relational principles, students are invited to consider how the horses may be feeling in each moment. This process supports the development of emotional awareness, empathy, and self-reflection. As students begin to learn more about the horses, they also begin to better understand and regulate their own thoughts and emotions.

A growing body of research indicates that professionally facilitated equine-assisted programs can support social, emotional, and behavioural development across the lifespan.
